\nSENADE NEO<\/p>\n
Pharmacotherapeutic group:<\/strong> Laxative that enhances intestinal peristalsis.
Composition:<\/strong> Calcium salts of sennosides A and B \u2013 13.5 mg (in the form of senna leaf extract).
Excipients:<\/strong> Lactose, corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, sodium lauryl sulfate, methylparaben, talc, magnesium stearate.
\nThe product is manufactured based on an extract of senna leaves (Cassia acutifolia Del.; family \u2013 Fabaceae).
Pharmacological action:<\/strong> The product irritates the receptors of the large intestine and reflexively enhances peristalsis, thereby promoting faster intestinal evacuation and restoring normal intestinal function. It does not cause dependence and does not interfere with digestion.
\nThe effect of the product begins 8\u201310 hours after administration.
Indications:<\/strong> Used as an adjunct in complex therapy. Constipation caused by hypotonia of the large intestine and reduced peristalsis. Regulation of bowel function in cases of hemorrhoids, proctitis, and anal fissures.
Method of administration and dosage:<\/strong> Administered orally, usually once daily, before bedtime, with water.
\nAdults and children over 12 years of age: 1 tablet per dose. If there is no effect, the dose may be increased to 2\u20133 tablets.
\nChildren aged 6 to 12 years: 1\/2 tablet per dose and, if necessary, the dose may be increased to 1\u20132 tablets.
Contraindications:<\/strong> Hypersensitivity to the components of the product; intestinal obstruction, strangulated hernia, acute inflammatory diseases of the abdominal organs, peritonitis, gastrointestinal bleeding, metrorrhagia, cystitis, spastic colitis, disorders of water and electrolyte balance.
\nThe product should be administered with caution during pregnancy and lactation, in children under 6 years of age, and during the postoperative period.
Side effects:<\/strong> The laxative effect of the product may be accompanied by cramping abdominal pain. Overdose and prolonged use may cause diarrhea.
Special instructions:<\/strong> During treatment, the urine may become yellowish-brown or reddish-purple. This should not cause concern:<\/strong> the natural color of the urine will return after discontinuation of treatment.
\nThe use of \u201cSENADE NEO\u201d tablets for more than 2 weeks is not recommended.
Overdose:<\/strong> In case of overdose, diarrhea may occur, which may lead to dehydration. In such cases, adequate fluid intake is required.
Pregnancy and lactation:<\/strong> During pregnancy and lactation, the product may be used only after assessing the benefits and risks of treatment.
Interaction with other medicinal products:<\/strong> Prolonged use in high doses may enhance the effects of cardiac glycosides and affect the action of antiarrhythmic medicines by increasing the risk of hypokalemia.
Presentation:<\/strong> Primary packaging: 20 tablets in a polyvinyl chloride and aluminum foil blister.
\nSecondary packaging: 3 blisters are placed in a cardboard box together with the instructions for use.

\nThe product must not be used after the expiry date or if any defects are detected during visual inspection.
