LEOMENTHUM<\/p>

Dosage form:<\/b> Syrup.<\/p>\n\n

Pharmacological group:<\/b> Herbal sedative agent.<\/p>\n\n

Composition:<\/b> Motherwort liquid extract \u2013 20 ml; Peppermint tincture \u2013 2.5 ml; Sorbic acid; Ethyl alcohol 96%; Sorbitol syrup \u2013 up to 100 ml.<\/p>\n\n

\"Leoment\" contains a complex of biologically active substances: essential oils, flavonol glycosides (quercetin, rutin, quinqueloside), saponins, the alkaloid leonurine, tannins.<\/p>\n\n

Sugar-free, made with sorbitol!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Pharmacological action:<\/b> The preparation exhibits sedative, spasmolytic, hypotensive, cardiotonic, analgesic, and anticonvulsant properties. It reflexively dilates cerebral blood vessels and relieves spasms of internal organ smooth muscles.<\/p>\n\n

Indications:<\/b> Used in complex therapy as an adjuvant treatment for various forms of neuroses, insomnia, hyperexcitability, fear, tension, neurogenic arrhythmia, flatulence, nausea, and constipation.<\/p>\n\n

Contraindications:<\/b> Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation.<\/p>\n\n

Dosage and administration:<\/b> Orally, during meals.<\/p>\n

  • Adults:<\/b> 1 tablespoonful (15 ml) syrup 3\u20134 times daily;<\/li>\n
  • Children aged 1 to 3 years:<\/b> 1\/2 teaspoonful (2.5 ml) syrup 3 times daily;<\/li>\n
  • Children aged 3 to 6 years:<\/b> 1 teaspoonful (5 ml) syrup 3 times daily;<\/li>\n
  • Children aged 6 to 12 years:<\/b> 1 dessertspoonful (10 ml) syrup 3 times daily.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    The duration of treatment is 2 weeks. The course may be repeated after 1 month.<\/p>\n\n

    Side effects:<\/b> When taken in large doses or for prolonged periods, the preparation may cause drowsiness, dizziness, and decreased performance capacity.<\/p>\n\n

    Missed dose:<\/b> Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Take the next dose according to the original schedule.<\/p>\n\n

    Pregnancy and lactation:<\/b> The preparation can be used during pregnancy and lactation as prescribed by a doctor.<\/p>\n\n

    Effects on ability to drive and use machines:<\/b> Caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery, as the preparation affects concentration and reaction speed.<\/p>\n\n

    Drug interactions:<\/b> \"Leoment\" prolongs and enhances the action of hypnotic, neuroleptic, psychotropic, and antiepileptic agents.<\/p>\n\n

    Overdose:<\/b> No cases of overdose have been reported.<\/p>\n\n
