\nInstructions for use

\n\nInternational nonproprietary name:<\/strong> Vaselinum, Vaseline.
Dosage form:<\/strong> Ointment for external use.
Pharmacological group:<\/strong> Dermatological product.
Composition:<\/strong> Vaseline 25 g.
\n\nPharmacological action:<\/strong> Vaseline softens the epithelial surface of the skin. The ointment covers the skin with a thin but dense layer that prevents the penetration of microorganisms into cracks, wounds and abrasions (forming a protective barrier against microorganisms), protects the skin from cold, flaking and cracking. The ointment makes the skin more supple and elastic and prevents dehydration by restoring the skin\u2019s natural hydrolipidic protective barrier.
\n\nPharmacokinetics:<\/strong> When applied externally, Vaseline is not absorbed into deep tissues and practically does not enter the systemic circulation.
\n\nRecommended use:<\/strong> Used as an adjunctive product in complex therapy.
\nIt is used to soften the skin of the hands, knees, feet, elbows and lips in cases of dryness, cracking and roughness, which may be caused by adverse environmental factors (sun, wind, frost) as well as vitamin deficiency. It is also used prior to medical procedures (the ointment is applied to the tip of a gas outlet tube and an enema nozzle).
\n\nMethod of use:<\/strong> Apply a thin layer to a cleansed skin surface and rub in thoroughly.
\n\nContraindications:<\/strong> Hypersensitivity to Vaseline.
\n\nSide effects:<\/strong> In case of hypersensitivity, allergic reactions may occur.
\n\nInteraction with other medicinal products:<\/strong> Does not interact with other medicinal products.
\n\nPregnancy and lactation:<\/strong> The product may be used during pregnancy and lactation.
\n\nEffects on the ability to drive and operate machinery:<\/strong> Use of the product does not affect the ability to drive vehicles or operate machinery.
\n\nOverdose:<\/strong> Overdose is not possible when used externally.
\n\nSpecial precautions:<\/strong> The ointment is for external use only. Avoid contact of Vaseline with the eyes! In case of contact, carefully remove the product and\/or rinse with water.
