Antiseptic, antifungal, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory medicinal product
\nDosage form: Ointment.<\/strong>

\n\nPharmacological group:<\/strong> Antiseptic, antifungal, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory medicinal product.

\n\nDescription:<\/strong> Yellowish-brown, water-insoluble ointment with the characteristic aromatic odor of propolis.

\n\nComposition:<\/strong>
\nPrepared on the basis of propolis (20%).
Excipients:<\/strong> Beeswax, petrolatum, sunflower oil;

\n\nPharmacological action:<\/strong>
\nHas antipruritic, antifungal, bactericidal, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects and stimulates tissue regeneration and epithelialization.

\n\nIndications:<\/strong>
\nFurunculosis, burns, purulent wounds, chronic non-healing wounds, neurodermatitis, trophic ulcers, inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa (gingivitis, stomatitis, periodontosis), fungal diseases, proctitis, vaginitis, cervical erosions.

\n\nMethod of administration and dosage:<\/strong>
\nAfter removal of necrotic tissue, apply propolis ointment to the affected area, with or without gauze, twice daily. The course of treatment is 2\u20133 weeks.
\n\nIn inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa, propolis ointment should be applied to the affected areas after meals.
\n\nThe duration of treatment depends on the nature of the lesion and is determined individually by the physician.

\n\nContraindications:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Individual intolerance to bee products;
\n\u2022 Acute eczema.

\n\nSide effects:<\/strong>
\nUse of propolis ointment may cause skin hyperemia, rash and itching. In such cases, use of the medicinal product should be discontinued.

\n\nOverdose:<\/strong> No cases of overdose have been reported.

\n\nSpecial precautions:<\/strong> In case of an allergic reaction, use of the medicinal product should be discontinued and the ointment should be washed off with warm water. When used in the oral cavity as an application, swallowing the ointment is not recommended; however, accidental swallowing is not harmful.

\n\nInteraction with other medicinal products:<\/strong> Not studied.

\n\nPregnancy and lactation:<\/strong> The medicinal product may be used during pregnancy and lactation as prescribed by a physician.

\n\nEffects on the ability to drive and operate machinery:<\/strong> Use of the medicinal product does not affect the ability to drive vehicles or operate machinery.

\n\nPresentation:<\/strong> 25 g of ointment in an aluminium tube. The tube is placed in a cardboard box together with the package leaflet.

\n\nDispensing conditions:<\/strong> Pharmaceutical Product Group III; available without a prescription.

\n\nShelf life:<\/strong> 3 years.
