ANGINOL
Parapharmaceutical product
Dosage form: სიროფი.
Pharmacological group: Paramedical agent with biostimulating and antioxidant activity.
Composition: Active substance: Biostimulated aloe leaves (Folia Aloes arborescentis) – 0.67 g/ml; Excipients: sugar, methylparaben, ethyl alcohol, distilled water;
Contains a complex of biologically active substances: enzymes, vitamins, the anthraglycoside aloin, the free anthraquinones emodin and chrysophanol, biogenic stimulators, polysaccharides, and trace elements.
Pharmacological action: "Anginol" exhibits bactericidal, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. Due to its content of biogenic stimulators, it protects the body against the common cold and boosts the body's resistance to infectious diseases.
Emodin inhibits the growth of *Helicobacter pylori* in a dose-dependent manner by reducing N-arylamine acetyltransferase activity. It has been established that emodin exerts a direct virucidal effect on Herpes simplex, Varicella zoster, and influenza viruses.
The polysaccharides found in aloe, in combination with trace elements such as zinc, selenium, and copper, determine the preparation's immunomodulatory effect.
Indication: Used as an adjunct in combination therapy.
· Cold;
· Tonsillitis;
· Laryngitis;
· Pharyngitis;
· Inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract;
· Reduced resistance of the body to infections
to diseases.
Administration and dosage: Take orally before meals. The syrup may be diluted in water.
For adults: 15 ml of syrup 3 times a day.
For children over 12 years of age: 10 ml of syrup 3 times a day.
For children aged 8 to 12 years: 5 ml of syrup 3 times daily (consultation with a doctor is recommended).
The duration of the treatment course is 3 to 7 days, depending on the indications.
Contraindication:
· Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug
towards the components.
· Hemorrhagic bleeding, metrorrhagia (abdominal bleeding)
due to increased blood flow to the organs);
· Liver cirrhosis, chronic pancreatitis, appendicitis, Crohn's disease
Disease, ulcerative enterocolitis, abdominal pain;
· Diabetes mellitus;
· Pregnancy and lactation.
Side effects: Dyspepsia, heartburn, abdominal pain, diarrhea, increased blood flow to pelvic organs, heavier menstrual bleeding, increased uterine tone (if taken during pregnancy), and allergic reactions may occur.
In the event of side effects, the patient should discontinue treatment and consult a doctor.
In the event of side effects not listed in the instructions for use, the patient should consult their doctor or pharmacist.
Pregnancy and lactation: "Anginol" syrup is not used during pregnancy and lactation.
Interactions with other medicinal products or other forms of interaction: Prolonged use may lead to potassium depletion and potentiate the effects of cardiac glycosides and antiarrhythmic drugs.
The risk of developing potassium deficiency in the body increases when taken in combination with thiazide diuretics, licorice preparations, and corticosteroids.
The drug potentiates the action of laxatives.
Impact on drivers and personnel operating potentially hazardous machinery: Due to its alcohol content, "Anginol" may affect the ability to concentrate while driving vehicles or operating machinery.
Caution: Prolonged use of the medication may increase the risk of developing side effects.
Due to its ethanol content, use with caution in children!
Shake the preparation before use!
Overdose: No cases of overdose have been reported.
Dosage form: 100 ml of syrup in dark orange polyethylene bottles. One bottle is placed in a cardboard box.
Dispensing rules: Pharmaceutical product Group III; dispensed without a prescription.
Shelf life: 2 years.
Do not use the product after the expiration date.
Storage conditions: Store protected from light and out of the reach of children, at a temperature of 15–25°C.
