Allergin 20 Tablets

Dosage form: Film-coated tablets.

Pharmacological group: Antiallergic agent of plant origin.

Tablet composition: Dry extract of Perilla (Extractum Perillae siccum) – 0.3 g.
Excipients: Lactose, magnesium basic carbonate, calcium stearate, starch, talc, sucrose, polyvinylpyrrolidone, magnesium carbonate, Aerosil, titanium dioxide, red pigment.

Pharmacological action: The antiallergic action of Perilla (a selective effect on allergic symptoms caused by plant pollen), as well as its antipyretic effect, is attributed to its content of rosmarinic acid, caffeic acid and luteolin. The polysaccharides and polyphenols contained in the plant contribute to its antioxidant activity.
Rosmarinic acid reduces the number of eosinophils in bronchial secretions and the respiratory tract. It also inhibits the enhanced production of IL-4, IL-5 and eotaxin proteins in sensitized individuals and promotes the production of allergen-specific antibodies, IgE, cytokines and chemokines.

Indication: Used as an adjunct in combination therapy.

•    Allergic sneezing;

Method of administration and dosage: Administered orally.

Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation.

Side effects: It does not cause drowsiness, does not affect motor coordination or memory, and is not habit-forming.

Pregnancy and lactation: Use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended, as there is no conclusive clinical data confirming its safety.

Effect on the ability to drive and use machines:
The product does not affect the ability to drive and use machines.

Interactions with other medicinal products or other forms of interaction: Not studied.

Overdose: No cases of overdose have been reported.

Presentation:
Primary packaging: 10 tablets in a PVC/Alu blister.
Secondary packaging: 2 blisters in a cardboard box with the package leaflet.

Shelf life: 2 years.

Do not use the preparation if the expiration date has passed or if defects are detected upon visual inspection!

Storage: Store at 15–25°C, protected from light.
