Neosed 40 Tablets

Dosage form: Tablets.
Composition:
Active substances: Valerian rhizomes and roots, motherwort herb, peppermint leaves, hop cones, hawthorn flowers, lemon balm extract, lavender essential oil.

Excipients: Magnesium carbonate, talc, starch, calcium or magnesium stearate, povidone, sucrose, aerosil, titanium dioxide, blue pigment.

"Neosed" contains a complex of biologically active substances: essential oils (borneol isovalerate, borneol, isovaleric acid, menthol), valepotriates, flavonoids (quercetin, rutin, quinqueloside), triterpene saponins, vitamins, tannins, bitter glycosides, lupulin, humulone, lupulone, ursolic and oleic acids.

Pharmacological action: The preparation possesses sedative, antispasmodic, hypotensive, cardiotonic, anticonvulsant, analgesic, and saluretic properties. It enhances inhibitory processes in neurons of the cortical and subcortical structures of the brain, reduces reflex excitability in central parts of the nervous system, prolongs the action of hypnotic drugs, decreases spontaneous activity, relieves arrhythmias of neurogenic origin, reflexively dilates cerebral blood vessels, reduces spasms of smooth muscles in internal organs, and enhances bile secretion, digestive gland secretion, and peristalsis. It promotes the regulation of fat and water-salt metabolism.

Indications: Used in complex therapy as an adjuvant treatment for:

• Various forms of neuroses, including climacteric neurosis;
• Agitation, fear, tension;
• Migraine-like headaches;
• Neurogenic arrhythmias;
• Hypertensive disease (stage I, II);
• Diseases of the liver and biliary tract (cholecystitis, cholangitis);
• Functional secretory disorders of the gastrointestinal tract;
• Meteorism, nausea.

Side effects: Prolonged use of the preparation in increased doses may cause drowsiness.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the preparation.

Dosage and administration: For oral use.

Adults: 1 tablet 3 times daily after meals.

Pregnancy and lactation: The use of "Neosed" is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation due to the lack of reliable clinical data confirming its safety.

Interactions with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction: There are no adequate studies on the interaction of "Neosed" with other drugs.

Overdose: No cases of overdose have been reported.

Effects on ability to drive and use machines: The preparation does not affect the ability to drive and use machines.

Packaging: 20 tablets per blister. 2 blisters in a cardboard box together with the leaflet.

It is prohibited to use the preparation after the expiry date or if any defects are detected upon visual inspection.

Shelf life: 4 years.

Storage conditions: Store in a dry place, protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
