Dosage form: Tablets. Composition:
Active substances: Valerian rhizome and roots, motherwort herb, peppermint leaves, hop cones, hawthorn flowers, lemon balm extract, lavender essential oil. Excipients: Magnesium carbonate, talc, starch, calcium or magnesium stearate, povidone, sucrose, Aerosil, titanium dioxide, blue pigment. “Neosedi” contains a complex of biologically active substances: essential oils (borneol isovalerianate, borneol, isovaleric acid, menthol), valepotriates, flavonoids (quercetin, rutin, quinkveloside), triterpene saponins, vitamins, tannins, bitter glycosides, lupulin, humulone, lupulone, ursolic and oleic acids. Pharmacological action: The medicinal product has sedative, antispasmodic, hypotensive, cardiotonic, anticonvulsant, analgesic and saluretic effects; it enhances inhibitory processes in the neurons of the cortical and subcortical structures of the brain, reduces reflex excitation in the central parts of the nervous system, prolongs the effects of hypnotic medicinal products, reduces spontaneous motor activity, relieves arrhythmias of neurogenic origin, reflexively dilates cerebral blood vessels, reduces spasms of the smooth muscles of internal organs, enhances bile secretion, digestive gland secretion and peristalsis. It promotes the regulation of fat and water-salt metabolism. Indications: Used as an adjunct in complex therapy. • Various forms of neuroses, including menopausal neurosis;
• Agitation, fear, tension;
• Migraine-like headaches;
• Neurogenic arrhythmias;
• Hypertensive disease (Stages I and II);
• Diseases of the liver and biliary tract (cholecystitis, cholangitis);
• Disorders of the secretory function of the gastrointestinal tract;
• Meteorism, nausea. Side effects: Prolonged use of the medicinal product at increased doses may cause drowsiness. Contraindication: Hypersensitivity to any component of the medicinal product. Method of administration: Administered orally. Adults: 1 tablet 3 times daily after meals. Pregnancy and lactation: The use of “Neosedi” during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended, as there are no reliable clinical data confirming the safety of the medicinal product. Interaction with medicinal products and other forms of interaction: There are no adequate studies on the interaction of “Neosedi” with other medicinal products. Overdose: No cases of overdose have been reported. Effect of the medicinal product on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery:
The medicinal product does not affect the ability to drive vehicles or operate machinery. Presentation: 20 tablets per blister. 2 blisters in a cardboard box together with the instructions for use.
