Motherwort tincture 25 ml

Pharmacological group: Sedative of plant origin.

Ingredients: Prepared from the aerial parts of motherwort using 70% ethyl alcohol. 

Contains a complex of biologically active substances: flavonoids (quercetin, rutin, quinqueloside), essential oils, saponins, tannins, and steroidal glycosides.

Pharmacological action: It exerts a sedative effect, reduces spontaneous locomotor activity, potentiates the action of hypnotics and narcotics, lowers blood pressure, exhibits a cardiotonic effect (strengthening systole and slowing the heart rate), and possesses anticonvulsant properties.

Indication:

• Various types of neuroses;

• Stage I hypertensive disease;

• Agitation, insomnia;

• Tachycardia.

Administration and dosage: For oral administration. 30–50 drops 3 times daily after meals.

Contraindication: Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation.

Side effects: Allergic reactions may occur in rare cases.

Effects on the ability to drive and operate machinery: Caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery while taking the drug, as it affects the ability to concentrate and react quickly.

Overdose: Prolonged use of high doses may lead to a reduction in the speed of psychomotor reactions.

Missed dose: Do not take a double dose if you miss a dose. Take the next dose as soon as possible or according to the original schedule.

Interactions with other medicinal products: Concomitant use with other sedatives is permissible; it potentiates the effects of hypnotics and CNS-depressant drugs.

Special precautions: Prolonged use of the drug in high doses may reduce the speed of psychomotor reactions. In such cases, caution should be exercised when driving vehicles or operating machinery that requires focused attention.

Use in pediatrics: Not used (contains ethyl alcohol).

Packaging:  25 ml of tincture in amber glass and polymer material vials with a dropper and a screw cap.

Shelf life: 3 years.

Do not use the product after the expiration date or if defects are detected during visual inspection.

Storage: Store at room temperature, in a dry place protected from light.

Dispensing rules: Group III pharmaceutical product – may be used without a doctor's prescription, in accordance with the instructions.
