Helmicid 30 Capsules

Dosage form: Capsules.

Composition: Fennel seeds – 0.05 g; Yarrow herb – 0.03 g; Tarragon leaves – 0.03 g; Clove buds – 0.03 g; Wormwood herb – 0.02 g; Peppermint leaves – 0.04 g; Ginger rhizome – 0.04 g; Dandelion roots – 0.01 g; Vitamin C – 0.07 g.

Pharmacotherapeutic group: Anthelmintic agent.

Pharmacological action: "Helmicide" is a herbal remedy in capsules possessing anthelmintic properties. The phytocomplex purifies the body from parasites and worms, whose metabolic waste products intoxicate the organism and lead to various pathological conditions.

The core components of "Helmicide" capsules are wormwood herb and clove buds. Due to its santonin content, wormwood acts upon both adult and intermediate forms of over 100 parasite species; cloves target their eggs and pupae (larvae), while ginger enhances the anthelmintic effect of wormwood and cloves. The combined action of these three botanicals ensures the destruction and clearance of parasites from the body.

The bitter principles and biologically active substances present in the "Helmicide" herbal formula stimulate the secretion of hydrochloric acid, gastric juice, and other digestive secretions, which further exerts a lethal effect on parasites and prevents re-infestation.

The destruction and breakdown of parasites release a significant amount of toxins. Dandelion roots and Vitamin C in "Helmicide" capsules assist the liver in neutralizing these harmful substances. The processed metabolic products are subsequently eliminated via bile and urine. Dandelion, wormwood, yarrow, and peppermint promote bile secretion, while chamomile provides a diuretic effect.

Helminths damage the intestinal walls at their attachment sites, causing localized inflammatory processes and painful spasms. Yarrow in "Helmicide"—owing to its potent wound-healing properties—works synergistically with cloves, wormwood, peppermint, and ginger to relieve inflammation, alleviate pain, and ease spasms.

Indications: Used for various parasitic infections and their associated pathological conditions:

• Chronic fatigue syndrome;
• Headache, migraine;
• Hyperactivity and attention deficit disorder (ADD/ADHD) or lethargy in children;
• Abdominal discomfort, irritable bowel syndrome, and other gastrointestinal disorders (including constipation, dysbiosis, etc.);
• Conditions accompanied by reduced immunity;
• Cleansing the body of metabolic waste and toxins.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation.

Side effects: In rare cases, it may cause irritation of the gastric mucosa or trigger allergic reactions.

Dosage and administration: Administered orally, during meals or 15–20 minutes after eating.

• Children aged 6 to 14 years: 1 capsule twice daily.
• Adults and children over 14 years of age: 1–2 capsules twice daily.

The minimum duration of treatment is 3 weeks. Continuing treatment up to 1 month is recommended. A repeated course may be administered following a 1-week break.

Overdose: No data on overdose cases are available.

Missed dose: If a dose is missed, do not take a double dose. Resume taking the subsequent dose according to the original schedule.

Drug interactions: Concomitant administration with other medicinal products is permissible.

Special instructions and precautions:

• Use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended.
• Patients with gastric or duodenal ulcer disease or hyperacid gastritis should consult a physician prior to use.

Pediatric use: Contraindicated in children under 6 years of age.

Effects on ability to drive and use machines: The preparation does not affect the ability to drive or operate machinery.

Packaging: 10 capsules on a PVC/Alu blister. 3 blisters placed in a cardboard box together with the instruction leaflet.

Shelf life: 2 years.
The preparation must not be used after the expiry date or if defects are detected upon visual inspection.

Storage conditions: Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, protected from light, and out of reach of children.
