Instructions for use

Pharmacological group: Antioxidant, anti-inflammatory agent.
Dosage form: Eye drops.
Composition (per 10 mL):
Active substances: Honey – 10 g, ascorbic acid – 0.005 g;
Excipients: Nipagin, sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, distilled water.
Pharmacological action: “Davikol” possesses anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial activity. The medicinal product is characterized by antioxidant activity, acts as a regulator of enzymatic activity, and stimulates the regeneration of ocular tissues and wound-healing processes.
Indications: Used as an adjunctive medicinal product in complex therapy for:
· ocular injuries and burns;
· corneal changes and conjunctivitis caused by contact lens wear;
· “monitor” conjunctivitis associated with prolonged computer use;
· initial lens opacities;
· all forms of ophthalmic herpes (herpes simplex, herpes zoster);
· adenoviral eye infections;
· keratopathies of infectious, post-traumatic, and postoperative origin;
· corneal and retinal dystrophies of various etiologies.
Adverse reactions: Local allergic reactions may rarely occur.
Method of administration and dosage: Children aged 6 years and older and adults – one drop 6 times daily. Children under 6 years of age – one drop 3 times daily.
If a dose is missed, the subsequent dose should be administered according to the original dosing schedule.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the medicinal product.
Pregnancy and lactation: The medicinal product may be used during pregnancy and lactation as prescribed by a physician.
Effects on the ability to drive and operate machinery: Use of the medicinal product does not affect the ability to drive or operate machinery.
Interaction with other medicinal products: Not studied;
Presentation:
Primary packaging: 10 mL of solution in a polyethylene bottle with a dropper and screw cap.
Secondary packaging: One bottle is placed in a cardboard box together with the package leaflet.
Shelf life: 1 year.
The medicinal product may be used for 30 days after opening.
The medicinal product must not be used after the expiry date or if any defects are detected during visual inspection.

Storage conditions: Store in a cool place, protected from light (at a temperature of 8–15°C).
Dispensing rules: Pharmaceutical product Group III; dispensed without a prescription.
