International name: Memorin (Memorin)

Dosage form: Capsules

Composition: Dry extract of Ginkgo biloba leaves – 80 mg (with 24% flavone glycosides).
Excipients: Magnesium carbonate, lactose, povidone, Aerosil.
Pharmacotherapeutic group: Angioprotective medicinal product of plant origin.
Clinical-pharmacological group: Medicinal product for improving cerebral and peripheral blood circulation.

**Pharmacological Action** “Memorin” is a medicinal product of herbal origin. The active constituents of the extract—flavonoid glycosides and terpene lactones (ginkgolides and bilobalide)—regulate cellular metabolism, improve blood rheological parameters, and enhance microcirculation. The medicinal product exerts an antihypoxic effect on tissues, enhancing the supply of oxygen and glucose to the brain and peripheral tissues. It improves cerebral blood circulation and exhibits cerebroprotective activity. It also contributes to a reduction in vascular wall permeability, thereby exerting an anti-edematous effect in the brain and peripheral tissues, and inhibits platelet aggregation.

Indications:

Used as an adjunct in combination therapy.
Dyscirculatory encephalopathy of various etiologies (stroke, traumatic brain injury, advanced age).

Contraindications:

Reduced blood clotting ability; gastric and duodenal ulcer; erosive gastritis; acute circulatory disorders in the brain; acute myocardial infarction; arterial hypotension; age under 18 years; hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; pregnancy and lactation.

Special instructions:

Alcohol consumption is not recommended while taking the medication.
Use of the medication during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended, although no adverse effects on the fetus have been established.

Side effects:

**Adverse Reactions** In rare cases, allergic reactions (skin rash), dyspepsia, headache, and decreased blood coagulability may occur. **Method of Administration and Dosage** For oral administration. The capsules should be taken with water. The recommended dose is **1 capsule twice daily**. Clinical improvement is observed after approximately one month of treatment. The duration of treatment should be **at least 3 months**. If necessary, a repeated course of treatment may be administered following consultation with a physician.

Overdose:

No cases of overdose have been reported.
Interaction with other medicinal products: Concomitant use of "Memorin" with acetylsalicylic acid or anticoagulants is not recommended.
Effects on the ability to drive and use machines: The drug does not affect the ability to drive or operate machinery.

Dosage form:

Primary packaging: 10 capsules in a PVC/Alu blister.

Shelf life: 3 years.

Do not use the product after the expiration date or if defects are detected during visual inspection.
