Instructions for use

Dosage form: Capsules.

Appearance: White hard gelatin capsules; capsule contents – a brownish powder with a slightly bitter taste and a faint, characteristic, pleasant odor.

Pharmacotherapeutic group: Choleretic agent. 

Capsule composition: Dry extract of yellow gentian root – 400 mg; The dry extract of yellow gentian root contains a complex of biologically active substances: glycosides (gentiopicrin, amarogentin), which impart a bitter taste to the extract, increase bile secretion, and improve the metabolic function of the liver. It also contains the alkaloid gentianine, iridoids, flavonoids, and tannins. Pharmacological action: The preparation has a choleretic effect. It improves bile excretion function, stimulates bile production, and facilitates its flow, leading to improved liver function and detoxification. It also enhances gastric juice secretion and intestinal motility, improving digestion and appetite. It destroys pathogenic microflora and helps relieve constipation and flatulence.

Indication: Used as an adjunct in combination therapy to improve liver and biliary tract function.
• Cholecystitis, cholangitis;
• Biliary dyskinesia;
• Flatulence;
• Gastrointestinal dysfunction;

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation; arterial hypertension, hyperacidic gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, pregnancy, and lactation.

Side effects: Allergic reactions may occur. Nausea and abdominal pain occur rarely.
If side effects occur, the patient should discontinue treatment and consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Dosage and administration: In adults and adolescents over 18 years of age: 1 capsule 2–3 times daily, before or during meals, swallowed with a small amount of water. Duration of the treatment course: 21–30 days; If necessary, a repeated course of treatment can be taken after a 1-month break.

Overdose: No cases of overdose have been reported.

Interactions with other medicinal products or other forms of interaction: May potentiate the effect of choleretic agents. Concomitant use with antacids is not recommended.

Presentation: 10 capsules per blister. Two blisters per box.

Shelf life: 2 years;

Storage conditions: Store at room temperature in a dry place, protected from light.
Do not use the product if the expiration date has passed or if defects are detected upon visual inspection!
