Dosage form:

Pastilles / Lozenges Pharmacotherapeutic group: Local herbal expectorant. Pharmacological properties: "Althaea +C" calms coughs, covers the damaged mucous membrane with a thin layer, softens and dissolves dense inflammatory plaques (of the throat, larynx, and vocal cords), accelerates the regeneration of damaged mucosa, and protects respiratory tract nerve endings from irritation. Composition: Active substances: Marshmallow root dry extract – 40 mg; Ascorbic acid – 20 mg Excipients: Isomalt, raspberry flavor, strawberry flavor

Indications:

Used as an adjunct in combination therapy.
Acute and chronic respiratory tract diseases:
• Bronchitis;
• Pneumonia;
• Bronchiectasis;
• Tracheitis;
• Laryngitis;
• Tonsillitis.

Contraindication:

Individual intolerance to the components of the preparation.
Side effects: None reported.

Administration and dosage:

The lozenges should be sucked slowly in the mouth.
Children aged 5 to 12 years: one lozenge 3–4 times daily (no more than 4 lozenges per day).
Adults and children over 12 years of age: one lozenge every 2–3 hours (no more than 6–8 lozenges per day).

Duration of treatment: The course of treatment should not exceed 5 days. Overdose: No cases of overdose have been reported. Pregnancy and lactation: The preparation can be used during pregnancy and lactation on the recommendation of a doctor. Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction: Not studied. Effects on ability to drive and use machines: Does not affect the ability to drive and use machines.

Dosage form:

6 pastilles per blister. Two blisters are placed in a cardboard box. Terms of dispensing from pharmacies: Pharmaceutical product group III – dispensed without a prescription (Over-the-Counter). Shelf life: 2 years. Storage conditions: Store in a dry place, protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. It is prohibited to use the preparation after the expiry date or if defects are detected upon visual inspection.
