Composition:
Dry aloe extract – 0.7 g/50 mL, 96% ethyl alcohol, sorbic acid, purified water.

Contains a complex of biologically active substances: enzymes, vitamins, anthraglycosides, free anthraquinones emodin and chrysophanol, trace elements, and polysaccharides.

Description: Light brown liquid with a bitter taste and characteristic odor. It darkens under the influence of air and light. Formation of sediment during storage is permitted.

Pharmacological action:
Aloe juice improves appetite and enhances the secretion of the gastrointestinal glands. The anthraglycoside aloin, free anthraquinones emodin and chrysophanol, and resins stimulate chemoreceptors in the large intestine, resulting in the laxative effect of the medicinal product.
Aloe possesses anti-inflammatory activity and enhances regenerative processes in the skin and mucous membranes.
Aloe juice exerts bactericidal activity against cocci, intestinal pathogens, and the causative agent of diphtheria. The polysaccharides contained in aloe, in combination with trace elements such as zinc, selenium, and copper, contribute to the immunomodulatory activity of the medicinal product.

Indications:
• Chronic hypoacidic gastritis, enterocolitis, chronic constipation, loss of appetite;
• Decreased resistance of the body to infectious diseases;
• Acute rhinitis;
• Ulcerative stomatitis;
• Purulent wounds, burns, trophic ulcers, furunculosis, dermatitis, cutaneous tuberculosis, radiation-induced skin disorders;
• Cervical erosions, colpitis.

Contraindications:
• Hemorrhagic bleeding, metrorrhagia (due to increased blood flow to the abdominal organs);
• Liver cirrhosis, chronic pancreatitis, appendicitis, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative enterocolitis;
• Diffuse glomerulonephritis;
• Allergic reactions;
• Pregnancy;

Side effects:
• Prolonged use and administration of high doses for laxative purposes may cause inhibition of large-intestinal peristalsis due to irritation of the mucous membrane;
• Allergic reactions;
• Increased uterine tone during pregnancy;

Method of administration and dosage:
For oral administration: 1–2 teaspoons 2–3 times daily, 20–30 minutes before meals. Duration of treatment: 15–30 days.
As nasal drops: 5–8 drops into each nostril 2–3 times daily.
For external use, apply in the form of dressings.
In gynecological practice – administered in the form of tampons.

Interaction with other medicinal products:
Prolonged use of the medicinal product may cause potassium depletion and enhance the effects of cardiac glycosides and antiarrhythmic medicinal products.
Concomitant use with thiazide diuretics, licorice preparations, and corticosteroids increases the risk of developing potassium deficiency.
Aloe enhances the effects of laxative medicinal products.

Overdose: Overdose may result in an intensification of adverse effects. Treatment is symptomatic.

Use during pregnancy and lactation:
Use of the medicinal product is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.

Effects on the ability to drive and operate machinery: No effect.

Presentation:
50 mL in glass or polymer bottles with a polyethylene stopper and screw cap.

Shelf life: 2 years.

Do not use the medicinal product after the expiry date or if any defects are observed upon visual inspection.

Storage conditions: Store at room temperature, protected from light.
