Zelenin Neo 25 ml

International name: Belladonna tincture + Lily of the valley tincture + Valerian tincture + Menthol.

Pharmacological group: Anticholinergic medicinal product of plant origin.
Composition: Belladonna tincture – 5 mL; Lily of the valley tincture – 10 mL; Valerian tincture – 10 mL; Menthol – 0.2 g.
The plants contained in the medicinal product contain a complex of biologically active substances, including essential oils, flavonoids, cardiac glycosides, coumarins, valepotriates, and alkaloids of the tropane group (hyoscyamine, scopolamine).

Pharmacological action: Has sedative and antispasmodic effects. Reduces reflex excitability in the central parts of the nervous system, prolongs the effects of hypnotic medicinal products, dilates the coronary blood vessels, and relieves neurogenic arrhythmias. Reduces the secretion of the salivary, gastric and sweat glands and slows intestinal peristalsis.
Indications: Used in complex therapy as an adjunctive medicinal product.
• Vegetoneurosis, climacteric neurosis;
• Neurogenic bradyarrhythmias, bradycardia;
• Spastic conditions of the gastrointestinal tract;
• Hyperacid gastritis;
• Gastric and duodenal ulcer disease.

Side effects: Tachycardia, dry mouth, blurred vision, hyperthermia, arrhythmia. Administration at high doses may cause drowsiness and reduced work capacity.
In case of side effects, the patient should discontinue treatment and consult a physician.
If any side effects not mentioned in the package leaflet occur, the patient should consult the treating physician or pharmacist.
Method of administration and dosage: Administered orally. The drops should be diluted in half a glass of water.

For adults: 10–20 drops 2–3 times daily, 30 minutes before meals.
The duration of treatment is determined individually by the physician.
Missed dose: In case of a missed dose, a double dose should not be taken. The subsequent dose should be taken as soon as possible or according to the original dosing schedule.
Use in paediatrics: Not recommended (contains ethyl alcohol).

Contraindications:
• Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation;
• Pancreatic hypertrophy;
• Glaucoma;
• Pregnancy;
• Lactation period;
• Children under 12 years of age.

Pregnancy and lactation: The drug is not used during pregnancy and lactation.
Effects on the ability to drive and operate machinery: Taking the drug is not recommended while driving or operating machinery, as it affects the ability to concentrate and react quickly.

Interaction with other medicinal products: “Zelenin-Neo” drops reduce the effect of antiarrhythmic medicinal products and enhance the effects of antispasmodic, sedative and hypnotic medicinal products.
Overdose: Prolonged administration at high doses may result in a reduced speed of psychomotor reactions.
Precautions: In patients with bronchial asthma who systematically use Zelenin drops concomitantly with Berotec, salbutamol, isadrine and other medicinal products, caution should be exercised to prevent the development of tachycardia.

Dosage form: 25მლ შიგნით მისაღები წვეთები მუქი ნარინჯისფერი მინის ან პოლიმერული მასალის ფლაკონებში საწვეთურით და მიხრახნილი სახურავით.
Shelf life: 3 years.
Do not use the product after the expiration date or if defects are detected during visual inspection.
