Dosage form: Powder for oral solution in sachets – 7 g.

Composition of one sachet:

• Active substances: Willow dry extract – 250 mg, Camphor tree / Camphor dry extract – 250 mg, Ascorbic acid – 50 mg, Mukaltin – 50 mg, Aloe dry extract – 10 mg.
• Excipients: Sugar, saccharin sodium, citric acid, sodium citrate, orange, lemon, honey, honey & lemon or raspberry emulsion, raspberry flavoring, PEG.

Pharmacological action: Neocold is a combination product that possesses antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, and mild analgesic properties. It relieves symptoms of flu and colds.

Willow bark dry extract contains the glycoside salicin, which provides analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory actions.

Camphor extract contains a complex of biologically active substances that account for anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. The extract also exerts a soothing effect.

Ascorbic acid increases the body's resistance to infections and fulfills the body's requirement for vitamin C during acute respiratory viral infections.

Mukaltin calms coughs, covers the damaged mucous membrane with a thin layer, softens and dissolves dense inflammatory plaques (of the throat, larynx, and vocal cords), accelerates the regeneration of damaged mucosa, and protects respiratory tract nerve endings from irritation.

Aloe dry extract is characterized by bactericidal, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties, and contains biogenic stimulators.

Indications: Used in complex therapy as an adjuvant treatment for symptomatic relief of flu and colds, characterized by fever, sneezing, acute rhinitis, and head, throat, and muscle pain.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation;
• Diabetes mellitus.

Drug interactions: Increases the risk of side effects of salicylates and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs); may enhance the effect of anticoagulants.

Pregnancy and lactation: The preparation is not used during pregnancy and lactation.
If its use is necessary during lactation, breastfeeding should be discontinued for the duration of treatment.

Overdose: In case of overdose, side effects may be exacerbated.
In case of overdose, gastric lavage, administration of adsorbents, and symptomatic therapy are required.

Side effects: At recommended doses, no side effects are observed. In some cases, allergic reactions such as skin rash or itching may occur. Gastrointestinal disorders: nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, diarrhea.
If any side effects occur that are not listed in the package leaflet, the patient should consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions:

• Administration of the preparation is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation;
• Contains sucrose; administer with caution in severe forms of diabetes mellitus;
• During treatment with Neocold, alcohol consumption, as well as the administration of hypnotics and tranquilizers, is prohibited.

Dosage and administration: The contents of the sachet should be dissolved in a glass of hot water by stirring.

Adults: 1 sachet every 4–6 hours, but not more than 4 doses within 24 hours.
The course of treatment is 7–8 days. Extending the duration of treatment is possible upon consultation with a doctor.
The preparation is particularly effective when taken at the onset of the first symptoms of flu and colds.

Packaging: 7 g of powder per sachet. 10 sachets in a cardboard box.

Dispensing rules: Pharmaceutical product group – III (dispensed without a prescription).

Shelf life: 3 years.

Storage conditions: Store at a temperature of 15°C–25°C, in a dry place protected from light and out of reach of children.
It is prohibited to use the preparation after the expiry date or if defects are detected upon visual inspection.
