Neorubin 20 Capsules

Dosage form: Capsules.
Composition:
Madder roots – 347.5 mg;
Rhizomata et radices Rubiae.
Chamomile oil – 3.475 mg;
Oleum Matricariae.
Rose hip dry extract – 69 mg;
Extractum Rosae siccum.

The plants contained in the preparation provide a complex of biologically active substances: oxy- and oxymethylanthraquinones and their glycosides (ruberythric acid, alizarin), flavonoids, polysaccharides, carotenoids, vitamins, ascorbic acid, chamazulene, and tannins.

Pharmacological action:
The preparation exhibits diuretic, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, sedative, and mild analgesic effects. It promotes the disintegration and dissolution of bladder and kidney stones (calcium and magnesium oxalates and phosphates), enhances contractions of the renal pelvis and ureters, facilitates the movement of stones through the urinary tract and their expulsion, and has a choleretic effect. It stimulates the secretion of the digestive tract glands. The ascorbic acid contained in the preparation supports the body's redox processes.

Indications:
•    Nephrolithiasis (kidney stones);
•    Cholelithiasis (gallstones);
•    Gout.

Contraindications:
•    Acute and chronic glomerulonephritis;
•    Renal failure;
•    Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation.

**Directions for use and dosage:** Administer orally. **Adults:** 2–3 capsules 3 times daily after meals. The course of treatment is 20–30 days. A repeat course may be prescribed after 4–6 weeks. **Adverse effects:** None have been identified. **Missed dose:** If a dose is missed, a double dose should not be taken. The next dose should be taken according to the original dosing schedule. **Note:** When using Neorubin capsules, the urine becomes red in color due to the presence of alizarin and ruberythrinic acid. **Pregnancy and lactation:** Not studied. **Interactions with other medicinal products or other forms of interaction:** Not studied. **Effects on drivers and personnel working with potentially hazardous machinery:** The use of the product does not affect concentration or the ability to operate machinery. **Overdose:** Not studied. **Presentation:** 10 capsules in a PVC/Alu blister. 2 blisters are placed in a cardboard box. **Shelf life:** 2 years. The product must not be used after the expiry date.

Storage conditions: Store at a temperature of 18–25°C, in a dry place protected from light.
