Iodosept 5% 10 ml

Disinfectant solution for external use

Composition: Iodine – 0.5 g (5%); potassium iodide – 0.2 g (2%); ethyl alcohol (95%) – 4.3 g (43%); distilled water – 5 g (50%).

Description: Transparent, brownish-red liquid with a characteristic odor. 

**Directions for use:** “Iodosept” is used undiluted and is supplied as a ready-to-use solution. **Do not use for hand disinfection.** **General information:** “Iodosept” has a rapid bactericidal effect. Elemental iodine exhibits antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including staphylococci and streptococci. Ethanol is an antiseptic and antimicrobial agent. **Method and conditions of use:** Used as an antiseptic for the treatment of the injection and surgical areas/skin of patients to prevent the development of bacterial infections. Apply the undiluted solution with a sterile gauze swab for 3 minutes. **Exposure time: 3 minutes.** **Safety:** “Iodosept” is intended for external use only. **Do not apply to mucous membranes or wounds!**

Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, open flames, and other sources of ignition.
 

Packaging: In a 10 ml amber polymer vial with a polyethylene stopper and cap.
 

Shelf life: 3 years.
 

Storage conditions: Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, protected from light and out of the reach of children.
Do not use "Iodosept" if the expiration date has passed or if any defects are detected upon visual inspection.
